JUST PLAY. HAVE FUN.
ENJOY THE GAME.
Gajera International School organized the much awaited Annual Sports Day on Tuesday 18th January 2022, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The day began with the declaration of the meet, marking the commencement of the ceremony, followed by the lighting of the torch. It was a beautiful sight to behold on a cold winter morning. Playing sports can help children to develop their social skills and help to set them up for positive relationship building for life. Through an event like a sports day children get the chance to show leadership, teamwork and communication skills, as they interact with new people and face new challenges.
At Kids In Sports, we focus on the importance of learning multi sports at a young age and the benefits of doing so. Specific sports can wear children down if they start too early. The problem that arises out of children specializing at such an early age is that they do not have the social skills nor the cognitive skills to understand the complex roles they must partake in to be successful in a serious sport. It's important for kids not to specialize or play one sport year round and that, parents and coaches must be cognizant of the fact that kids' bodies are not meant to be trained in the same manner as adults.
Sports focus on the importance of positive reinforcement not competition or being the best, and it is important for parents to re-emphasize that as well. It is important for parents to embrace the unconditional love and emotions at an early age because it will be gone in the blink of any eye. Let them develop their own behaviors and emotions with sports and show them end of season appreciation.
The purpose of Sports Day is to encourage learners to excel in different sports and activities .The aims to keep learners busy in physical activities which will significantly reduce exposure to harmful radiation from digital devices.
