Eco Friendly Raksha Bandhan

One of the unique and special festivals celebrated in India is Raksha Bandhan which is dedicated to the sweet and strong bond of brothers and sisters. This day is celebrated with utmost joy and happiness among siblings and they also start preparing for this festival weeks early. Since the pandemic hit the world a few years ago, people all over the world were required to work from home since all the offices and schools were shut down. As we are blessed to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with full zeal, so we have also grabbed this opportunity to make our young learners celebrate “ Eco-friendly RakshaBandhan” . A much awaited Indian traditional festival of sisterly and brotherly respect was celebrated by tiny tots of Gajera International School Katargam, Surat.8th and 10th August 2022 was a memorable day for grades I - VIII. Students participated in various competitions such as “ Eco Friendly rakhi making, bookmark on rakhi theme, pooja thali decoration etc.”. They all decorated their Rakhis with their tiny hands and expressed their true love for each other considering Nature as well. It was a delightful celebration for learners that filled the environment of joy and enthusiasm.
