"Happy Festival Of Colors"

“A day full of colours!
A day full of excitement!
A day full of wishes!
Yes, it’s Holi!
A day to rejoice love!
"Happy Holi”

Holi the festival of colours, is one of the most important festivals of India and is celebrated with great pomp and fervor. A day before Holi, Holika is burnt to remove negativity and bring the colours of positivity into our lives. The dominant idea behind holi is to spread the message of harmony.

Learners celebrated Holi with fun and frolic at Farm School , on Wednesday. Dressed in traditional attire little ones sent out messages to play Holi with organic colours, not to colour pets and play with flowers, among others. Students were also told about “Brij ki holi” in Mathura and about Prahlad who loved God and whose aunt was Holika. School educators encouraged kids to use natural products to celebrate holi, including beetroot, henna and turmeric, among others.

To celebrate this festival ,a Special Assembly was conducted , wherein learners performed deciphering the importance of Holi and the safety measures required while playing Holi. A mesmerizing dance performance by the tiny tots of Eng medium learners and drama performed by the Guj medium learners.

The Principal of the school, praised the efforts of the students saying that Holi is the day to express love with colours and she also implored them to play safe Holi by avoiding artificial colours which are dangerous for their skin.
