India observes National Farmers Day on 23rd December to honor the birth commemoration of the fifth Prime Minister of India, Choudhary Charan Singh.

Gajera International School is celebrated farmers day every year. The learners and staff combined together to make the day a memorable one. Celebrated the day as a respect to the farmers. Respect for those whose sweat feeds us. Feeling the soil and the rain in the fields and barns, learners celebrated the day with dressing up as farmers and speech few sentences on Farmer Day.

They sang and danced in the fields. These programs were a reminder for all to go back to the agricultural culture to save the culture and the farmers.

Educators set up the village scene in school and showed the learners how they grow the fruits, vegetables, grains and also showed the process from wheat to Bread.

Farmers hold the backbone of the agricultural system. As it is common knowledge that for a country to progress the gross domestic product should be reasonable, agriculture is one of the important parts. The agricultural system will only run if there are crops being grown and harvested. Thus, the farmer is the most important person for each and every human being. Thus, the day became colorful and most memorable.
