IIMUN Orientation Program

Model United Nations, also known as MUN, is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At an MUN conference, students work as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world.

Gajera Goup of Schools in collaboration with IIMUN organised an orientation at Gajera International School Conference Hall on 9th March for the learners of Grade 10 and 12. The speaker Ms. Dhruvi explained the skills that MUN teaches it's participants like research, public speaking, debating and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork and leadership. It also meant to engage students and allow them to develop deeper understanding into current world issues. The workshop included the details about timeline, it's board of advisors, previous years guests, etc. The learners were given the detailed knowledge about its objectives, daily schedule during the MUN and this year's venue . It was really an informative session for the learners.
