Yoga is an invaluable ancient Indian practice with many benefits for both physical and mental health. It is vital in an individual’s life to make his life organized and help him to keep his body fit and mind in peace. It helps a human being to unfold his full potential and improve the quality of life - which is so much needed today. Yoga can wipe the tears and bring smiles on every face. It can bring celebration and skill in everyone's life.

International Yoga Day has been an enormous success since its launching, and huge programs are organized every year with a massive number of participants in the programs. It is celebrated by the whole world on 21st June every year starting from 2015 and was initiated by Honorable Prime Minister of India –Shri Narendra Modi. It began with GISK Yoga Educator conducting a round of warm-up exercises, demonstration of yoga postures, round of relaxation and concluded with National Anthem.
The grand celebration of The International Yoga Day in our school helped our young learners promote the idea and the benefits of practicing yoga. The learners practiced yoga asanas with great precision and concentration.

To conclude, Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees. Yoga is not a work-out it is a work-in, and this is the point of spiritual practice to make us teachable to open up our hearts and focus our awareness so that we can know what we already know and be who we already are.
So let's celebrate this world yoga day with zeal and zest, and reach out this precious ancient knowledge to every human being on this planet.
