National Saksham Competition
Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India, is committed to make oil conservation a National Movement. As a part of its mandate, Gajera International School conducted Essay writing and Painting Competitions at School level for participants on 7th February 2021.
The PCRA Essay writing, Painting, and Quiz competitions aim to raise awareness among youth about practical conservation tips for the conservation of Petroleum products in industrial, transport, agriculture and domestic sector, and how to practice such tips in their daily lives.
Gajera International School conducted these Painting & Essay Writing competitions for school children to promote awareness on Conservation of Petroleum Products and Practical Conservation tips for the conservation of Petroleum products in industrial, transport agricultural and domestic sectors for better future of environment & health.
GIS conducted an essay writing and painting competition for classes 7-10.
The Theme of the contest was “One Step Towards Green & Clean Energy एक कदम हरतएव वछ ऊजाकी ओर” as requested by PCRA to share the same with students of schools so that all the students participate in the competition.
Many enthusiastic learners of GIS actively participated in these competitions with great zeal. And they presented their creative ideas in the form of essay and painting.
After conducting the competitions successfully, GIS sent the best 2 entries in each category, i.e., Painting Junior (Class 5-7), Painting Senior( Class 8-10) and Essay Writing( Class 7-10) and uploaded on Saksham PCRA Portal through a scanned copy or a photocopy so the same can be uploaded in city round contest.
The winners of this National level competition will be awarded attractive Prizes, including Trip to Japan, Laptop and Cash Prizes worth 2.5 Crores.
GIS felt itself highly honoured having contributed for Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) - a registered society set up under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India.
