”Save the environment, The future is in your hands”

World Environment Day is a special day celebrated on June 5th each year. It is a day when people all around the world come together to show their love and respect for the environment. Even though in pre-primary, it's never too early to learn about the importance of taking care of our planet.

It is a day when we celebrate our beautiful planet and learn how to take care of it. Our planet is like a big home for all of us, and just like we take care of our own homes, we should take care of our planet too. So, our little Gajerian learn more about how they can protect our environment by doing some different activities with Dance, Speech and Songs.

The Importance of Nature:-

Nature is all around us! We see trees, flowers, birds, and butterflies. They make our world colorful and wonderful. We need to understand that nature is essential for our survival. Trees give us oxygen to breathe, and plants provide us with food. We should always be thankful for the gifts of nature and protect them.

Learners had done Art and Craft Activities by doing colouring and collage work in different leaves and trees to know the importance of Nature.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

One of the best ways to take care of the environment is by practicing the 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Reduce means using less of something so that we don't waste it. We can reduce the use of plastic by using cloth bags instead of plastic ones. Reuse means finding new ways to use things instead of throwing them away. We can reuse old jars as pencil holders. Recycle means turning things that we don't need into new things. We can recycle paper to make new paper.

Saving Water and Energy

Water is precious, and we must not waste it. We can save water by turning off the tap while brushing our teeth or using a bucket to water plants instead of a hose. Energy is also important. We can save energy by switching off lights and fans when we leave the room. Saving water and energy helps to protect our environment and make it a better place for everyone.

Educators teach the learners not to waste water.

We have learnt that our planet is beautiful and needs our help to stay that way. By taking care of nature, practicing the 3Rs, and saving water and energy, we can protect our environment. Let's remember to be kind to nature every day and make our planet a wonderful place for all living things.
