WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL
A Cheerful ‘Welcome” helps the learners for a positive start to their school journey. To make this journey an exciting, successful and happy experience GISK organized “WELCOME DAY” for the learners of grades I to V who have entered to our school campus after doing study at home on virtual platform for about two years.
After several months of silent hallways and empty classrooms, it was a delight today to welcome all of our young learners back into the building. The extensive preparation and planning of making school re-entry safe and welcoming displayed the care and commitment of all our educators. Our aim for the first day back was to normalize the school day and to rejuvenate the spirit of learning together in a school.
The assembly hall of the school was decked up with colourful posters, flowers and balloon. It was an amazing experience to see the lovely smiling faces of learners. Our educators presented welcome dance performance to enthuse our young learners. Our honorable principal shared her wise words with our learners. Moreover, our educators conducted various activities in classrooms to make their first day special.
It really was quite wonderful to see shining eyes peeking over the tops of masks, as learners arrived ready for learning in school today. Welcome Day celebration has been a foundation for the positive relationship among young children. We cordially thank to all our parents and guardians for helping to prepare your children for the first day of school, as this had a huge impact on helping to make today successful.
