World Computer Literacy Day

World Computer Literacy Day is celebrated on 2nd December to promote digital literacy across the world. The aim of celebrating this day is to create awareness about computers and encourage learners to learn how to use it. The day promotes technological skills especially in children. Computers are not just the present, but they are also the future and there is nothing without them.

Computers are magnificent tools for the realization of our dreams, but no machine can replace the human spark of spirit, compassion, love, and understanding. This was brilliantly showcased by the learners of Gajera International School on World Computer Literacy Day.

On this day Grade 1 & 2 little Gajerians enjoyed cutting and pasting different parts of computer in A4 size paper. Grade 3 to 5 learners took advantage of offline school and did an activity in the class wherein they prepared models of different parts of computer. Learners of Grade 6 to 8 prepared PowerPoint presentation on Cyber Security and Cyber Crime. They were expressive, confident and spontaneous in their way of explaining. Gajera school is always giving chance to their learners to show case their talent. There was a different spark and happiness visible on the faces of learners after the activity as Grade1 to 5 learners were doing the activity for the first in school. Overall, it was very informative and knowledgeable for our learners.
