"World Environment Day"

The food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the climate that makes our planet habitable all come from nature. Despite all the benefits that our nature gives us, we still harm it. On this World Environment Day, let's come together and promise ourselves to nurture for the future generation to come.

Gajera International School celebrated World Environment Day under their online study program. Educators conducted a special assembly by showing a video to help the learners understand the role that nature plays in our lives. To mark the day, the educators organized a virtual ‘nature walk' for the learners who were encouraged to plant more trees in their surroundings.

Saplings were implanted by the learners as well as the vice-principal and educators. Educator motivated the students to plant more and more trees in order to make the surroundings green. "It is important to look after our environment in order to make the earth a better place to live.

Going back to nature and connecting with it is all about living as naturally as possible, making most of the natural resources and energy available.

For the environment to change, there have to be small efforts made, and each individual counts and can help in this initiative. So let us all join our hands to protect the environment by saving precious natural resources ensuring a healthy future.

By making simple modifications in our everyday life, we can all contribute to the cause of environmental protection.
